Job Details We are looking for an experienced and innovative engineer to join our team, focusing on the development, maintenance, and operation of our CO2 capture and liquefaction systems, building design experience is a plus. This role requires a solid foundation in engineering principles, with specialized expertise in CO2 processes, system optimization, and troubleshooting. You’ll collaborate closely with our team of experts to enhance system performance, address technical challenges, and help shape advancements in environmental technology and engineering within the CO2 capture industry.
- System Design and Development: Contribute to the design and development of CO2 capture systems, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Process Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize CO2 liquefaction and capture systems for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop solutions to improve system performance and minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Oversee the quality of system outputs and collaborate with third-party testing labs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure successful project execution.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including reports, operation manuals, and maintenance logs.
- Client and Partner Interaction: Engage with clients and partners to address technical inquiries, provide guidance, and support system integration and operational troubleshooting.
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in system design and operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of CO2 processes, control systems, and system optimization
- Proficiency in engineering tools and software for design, analysis, and system diagnostics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs
