Job Details Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent role that will utilize your expertise in electro-mechanical systems, ANSI standards, GD&T proficiency, ECR, SolidWorks, FMEA, Labview, Matlab, 3D Design, Mechanical Design, and Finite Element Analysis. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing mechanical components and systems. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with ANSI standards and GD&T proficiency.
2. Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the structural integrity of design concepts.
3. Use Matlab and Labview for data analysis and system modeling.
4. Prepare Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and manage the implementation process.
5. Lead and participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and their impacts on system performance.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of mechanical design aspects into the overall project.
7. Oversee the fabrication, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
8. Develop and implement testing procedures, analyze test results, and prepare detailed reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives of the company.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
3. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Matlab, Labview, and other related software.
4. Expertise in electro-mechanical systems, ANSI standards, and GD&T.
5. Experience with ECR, FMEA, and 3D design.
6. Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
9. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
