POSITION DESCRIPTION: In this position, you will be responsible to drive a designated route each day to deliver and pick-up various recycling containers in various types of trucks. This position may operate a forklift, drive a Class A flatbed, and drive Class A dry vans.

- Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws
- Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR
- Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level
- Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets
- Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILIITIES: - A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be able to drive a 10-Speed Standard Vehicle
- Must be 21 years of age
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check; which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review
- Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records
- Strong customer service skills
- Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers
WORKING CONDITIONS: - Extensively use hands and fingers to manage or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear. Regular sitting on a powered industrial truck
- Frequently lift to fifty pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for extended periods of time
- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Having a good sense of balance
- Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
