Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, 4pm-7pm and Saturday 10am-4pm HMK Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity is respected
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
- Familiarity with systems for lifting and transferring clients safely
- Experience in working with individuals with autism is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
