The Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting and repair of allnnproduction equipment including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers,nnconveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. The Maintenance Technician also performsnntroubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, air compressors,nnReverse Osmosis, other water filtration equipment and general maintenance of the plant. ThennMaintenance Technician works directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, Preventative MaintenancennMechanics and Sr. Maintenance Technicians to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shift. ThennMaintenance Technician proposes solutions to complex and reoccurring problems on productionnnequipment to Sr. Mechanics and Management to resolve issues.nnEssential Functionsnn• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technicalnndrawings and testing equipmentnn• Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facilitynn• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with Niagara’s defined processesnn• Maintain industrial control systemsnn• Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely mannernnMay fill in for production operator as needednn• Create and report repairs throughout shift.
