This role will serve as the SME for the Driver Safety Information and Operational Systems including, but not limited to Roadnet, Omnitracs, Samsara software and hardware associated with these systems. Reporting to the EHS Driving Safety Manager, Corporate EHS division. The Driving Safety Technology Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring driving safety behaviors and regulatory compliance through the implementation of Safety driving hardware and software. The Driving Safety Technology Coordinator is responsible for the administrative operation of programs and processes supporting driver safety systems and works to optimize the operational effectiveness of all safety technologies.nnRemote - Must have ability to travel to the corporate office in St. Louis as needed and quarterly for up to 3 days for site visits.nnKey Traits:nnDetail OrientatednnCritical ThinkingnnProficient in software applications and troubleshootingnnResponsibilities:nnSource of knowledge concerning all Federal, State and local rules and regulations pertaining to Department of Transportation Operations in a transportation/distribution environment.nnMaintain and continuously improve the enterprise-wide Fleet Information and Operational SystemsnnAssigning all equipment to include, but not limited to driver tablets, vehicle cameras etc.nnWorking with data management to troubleshoot and resolve issues with driver tablets, cameras, etc.nnManage all test user groups – i.e. sandbox; updates; test groups; push out new software.nnFacilitate all updates for APK files.nnEnsure each unit is outfitted appropriately and working with all systems seamlessly.nnAssist site managers with Set-up locations and depots.nnGuides site managers in re-routes, and trains site managers in dynamic routing.nnHandle other assigned responsibilities, which may include fleet and safety-related program management, such as MVR and DOT Compliance.nnRequirements:nnBachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field or equivalent experience preferrednn1-3 or more years of experience in dash cam monitoring, safety software applications, compliance, and safety within the utility, or transportation industries is preferred.nnExperience in maintaining and administering DOT Driver Qualification files is a plus.nnClear understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations.nnProficiency in Safety databases, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Video Conferencing, Power BI, telematics software, etc.nnExpertise within a distribution logistics environment is a plus.nnDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task.nnKnowledge of Microsoft Power BI software preferred.nnKnowledge of SA360 strongly preferred.nnExperience interfacing with various levels of employees and management as well as with outside agencies.nnAbility to build rapport and influence without direct authority.nnSystematic thinking/strong diagnosis and problem-solving skills.nnAbility to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.nnMust be able to relate to individuals at all levels, be sensitive to corporate needs, and local needs.nnUnderstanding of safety issues and the functioning of a safety team.nnSalary range: $60-80K plus bonus.nnSo, what are you waiting for?
