Pay rate: $32 - $40/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
HVAC Technician essential tasks:
- Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on standard HVAC package and split unit systems, including inspections, repairs, and testing of key components.
- Conduct general repairs on steam/hot water boiler systems and diagnose airflow and ducting issues.
- Ensure safe, EPA-compliant handling and use of refrigerants for HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or system failures in boilers and HVAC units, including complex tasks like brazing and component replacement.
- Complete preventative maintenance, service inspections, and asset checks, ensuring thorough documentation and service reporting.
- Utilize technology effectively to access, complete work orders, and submit reports, maintaining strong client communication and satisfaction.
- Attend safety training, adhere to codes and guidelines, and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, degree/certification, or equivalent professional experience in trades such as electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.
- 5 to 10 years of HVAC experience in commercial/industrial service, with preference for S-1 Contractor or S-2 Journeyperson license (consideration for unlicensed candidates willing to obtain S2).
- Strong ability to read, understand, and follow safety policies and manuals; capable of writing reports and presenting information effectively.
- Must have an EPA Universal certification and possess relevant licenses and a valid driver's license.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
