Give advice on additional services that may be beneficial to the customers.nnPerform routine maintenance such as replenishing refrigerants and replacing filters.nnInstall thermostats, dehumidifiers or timers, run test to help identify appropriate settings and instruct them on the proper use.nnReplace components such as coils, compressors and controls.nnUtilize several types of tools, including electrical hand-tools, saws, drills, vacuums, and refrigerant gauges.nnDetermine service requirements by applying technical skills and experience, including system operations and preventive maintenance experience.nnComplete all work processes while maintaining safe working conditions and personal safety.nnDocument, in detail, the outcome of every work order.nnAll other duties as assigned.nnSuccessful Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualifications:nnDesire to be part of a winning teamnnPossession of a valid driver’s license and good driving record.nnPossess great mechanical aptitude.nnStrong ability to read and understand technical instructions.nnGood written and verbal communication skills.nnStrong knowledge of equipment, tools and methods commonly applied in repairing air conditioning and heating equipment.nnKnowledge of principles of operation of air conditioning and heating systems, and safety practices concerning HVAC work.nnAccurate diagnostics ability.nnExcellent ability to explain technical information to clients.nnComputer knowledge and the ability to apply the necessary software tools for HVAC duties, such as time keeping, customer billing and applying credit card payments.nnThis position is considered a safety sensitive position, successful completion of a preemployment drug screen and background check is required.nnPaschal Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type.
