We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to join our team in the position of Resident Care Aide.

We have 16hr position on day shift, 24hr position on evening, a 24hr position on nights and per diems available.

Responsibilities:
n
n- nReport to the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nursen
n- nProvide personal care services for residents in a professional, caring, and efficient manner and in accordance with state guidelinesn
n- nDocument all care appropriately n
n- nReview and prepare shift change logs at the beginning and end of each shift, as well as orally summarize pertinent information for aides coming on dutyn
n- nInform a licensed nurse of any changes in the resident’s condition or needsn
n- nAnswer emergency call system and respond appropriatelyn
n- nReport all incidents to a licensed nurse and in-coming staffn
n- nFollow proper procedures for the Self-Administered Medication Management system n
n- nAssess capabilities to determine needs for additional assistancen
n- nAssist with housekeeping duties, including resident laundry according to schedule or as needed.n
n- nPerform dining room duties and assist with the serving of residentsn
n- nAssist relatives, guests, and visitors, as neededn
n- nAssist with activities programsn
n- nMaintain a positive, professional calm, image, and environmentn
n- nTake a team approach to performing dutiesn
n- nComplete all required annual in-service trainingn
n- nAdhere to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when bending, lifting, and using equipmentn

Requirements:
n
n- Must be currently certified as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide program.
n- Must understand the physical and emotional needs of elders, enjoy working with them, show understanding and patience and perform duties required to enhance the resident’s environment and quality of life.
