The ideal candidate will have (Soft Skill 1), (Soft Skill 2) and (Soft Skill 3) which will align successfully in the organization.nnJob Title: Maintenance Engineering SpecialistnnLocation: Saint Louis MOnnOverviewnnResponsible for initiatives in all areas of Asset Management, including Maintenance and Work Process, Mechanical Integrity, and Mechanical Reliability. This role is focused on advancing standards for Asset Management Programs globally.nnResponsibilitiesnnUse knowledge of Industry Best Practices to serve as program leader and continuously improve Afton’s Asset Management ProgramnnAddress all Mechanical Integrity questions and utilize technical expertise to make decisions in support of Afton’s plant Inspection activities. Work closely with Afton’s Maintenance groups to ensure effective Predictive & Preventative Maintenance programsnnWork with Afton’s Corporate and Plant HSES groups to ensure Afton’s Mechanical Integrity Program is following local and federal laws. Ensure that all PSM requirements are seamlessly integrated into Afton’s Mechanical Integrity ProgramnnFunction as the corporate liaison between Afton’s Engineering and Maintenance groups on all Asset Management issuesnnDevelop maintenance standards and procedures with applicable KPI’s to ensure proper program effectivenessnnCommunicate Asset Management Program goals, drivers, and summaries to various audiences to provide status and garner support for the programnnProvide technical support and perform business process owner responsibilities for GE APM/Meridium (Mechanical Integrity software) and SAP Plant Maintenance modulennPerform detailed design calculations and sizing as required for capital project mechanical scope itemsnnDrawing review and approval for all fabricated equipment to ensure design meets all applicable industry and internal standards and code requirementsnnSupport on-site mechanical integrity group by reviewing, modifying, and approving all repair plans for fixed equipment and pipingnnQualificationsnnEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEnnBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringnnDemonstrated working knowledge of inspection procedures, maintenance and reliability and industry best practices within the chemical/manufacturing environment typically obtained after 8 or more years of experience in a related field.nnExperience developing standard work processesnnIn depth knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API 570, 650, 653 industry codesnnStrong working knowledge of Mechanical Integrity and OSHA PSM requirementsnnSAP Maintenance experiencennEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERREDnnExperience in root cause analysis, failure mode and effects, and asset criticality assessmentnnExperience with Maintenance TurnaroundsnnExperience implementing and maintaining effective Mechanical Integrity programsnnSKILLS/ABILITIESnnDemonstrated leadership and ability to work productively in a cross functional team environmentnnSelf-starternnInfluencing, negotiating and diplomacy skillsnnStrong analytical skillsnnAbility to effectively solve problems and resolve conflictsnnOrganizational skills and able to prioritize work, develop appropriate timelines and work to deadlinesnnEffective oral and written communications skillsnnProficient in Microsoft Office applicationnnAble to travel, as required, up to 10%nnIf this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
