Description The
Front Desk Concierge is responsible for the daily management of the front desk in the office building lobby. You will serve as the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position will provide exceptional customer service and a memorable experience for our guests by ensuring the facility is operating in accordance with company policy and client expectations from 8:30am - 5pm in a secure and efficient environment. #careerssponsor
Key Responsibilities - Greet and assist tenants, visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage reception duties, including answering phone calls and directing inquiries.
- Oversee and provide information on building access and policies, procedures and emergency/security protocols.
- Handle daily activity, access control and incident reports.
- Directly oversees all day-to-day activities associated with opening, managing, and closing the facility.
- Ensures the facility's safety and security for guests and employees by reviewing maintenance checklists and conducting periodic safety audits as directed by the company's Safety Manual.
- Resolves customer concerns that are escalated to his/her attention by the facility's front-line associates.
- Completes Incident Forms and conducts incident investigations as directed by his/her Senior Operations Manager and/or the Corporate Office.
- Consistently and effectively uses software applications necessary to record and track work.
- Handle mail and package deliveries with care and efficiency.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a certified security professional (VA Unarmed Security Officer/Courier, aka DCJS) by the state of Virginia or will be required to obtain certification within 60 days of start/transfer date
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer-service related job
- Valid driver's license without major violations
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed, through lunches (paid) on a consistent basis unless advance arrangements made in accordance with division/department policies
- Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, sense of urgency, problem-solving, time management written communication, active listening and organizational skills
- Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity
- Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation
- Must be customer-focused and results-oriented
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with others in team setting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and/or reach
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds
