Drivers may also be tasked with assisting the crews by offloading materials at various locations within a work site to increase job efficiency. This position supports the Line team and works with personnel within various departments.nnResponsibilitiesnnHaul equipment and materials to and from the job site as well as from pole to pole safely.nnPerform all groundwork, preparing necessary materials for Linemen.nnPrepare safe work zones with the use of signs, cones, etc.nnAssist in the training of new truck drivers.nnQualificationsnnMinimumnnHigh school diploma, or equivalent.nnCDL Class A or B license with no restrictions other than medical (e.g., vision).nnClean driving record.nnBackground investigation and drug screen required.nnPreferrednn2 or more years of relevant driving experience.nnPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentnnThis job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.nnThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is physically active, with lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
