OverviewnnThe Truck Driver Light will address customer needs, pick up and deliver parts for VDOT sites, and assist with inventory control.nnResponsibilitiesnnProvide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:nnAttention to detailnnMeet and greet customersnnReview supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)nnAnswer questions regarding availability of partsnnAsk appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and providednnInform customers when requested parts are availablennOperate a forkliftnnReview, familiarize with and adhere to Product Group Catalog.nnReview, familiarize with, and adhere to Policy and Procedures Manual.nnReview, familiarize with, and MANCON’s SOPs and Safety Manual.nnParts Pick upnnDrive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up partsnnProvide company documentation to vendors as required (tax exempt form, credit references)nnReview all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy on pricing and quantitiesnnReturn products to MANCON location in a timely fashionnnData Entry RequirementsnnAssist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory systemnnAssist in entry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory systemnnInventory Management RequirementsnnAssist in physically receiving vendor ordersnnAssist in performing weekly inventory cycle countsnnAssist in performing counts during Wall to Wall inventories at sitennOther RequirementsnnFollow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenancennProvide 24 hour support at the VDOT location during emergenciesnnAssist with inventory research projects as requestednnAdhere to required proceduresnnAssist Store Supervisor as assignednnParticipate in the SCM continuing training programnnQualificationsnn24-hour availabilitynnValid Driver’s License with two years driving experiencennObtain and maintain a forklift licensennPreferred QualificationsnnDelivery Driver experiencennAuto and/or heavy duty truck parts experiencennInventory experiencennP1 or P2 ASE certificationnnPhysical RequirementsnnMedium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.nnEssential RequirementsnnDriving, Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, WalkingnnPhysical Requirements OthernnWork is performed in storerooms and warehouses which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions.
