Your schedule will be every Saturday from 2:30PM – 3:00PM.nnYour hourly pay will be $25, paid weekly.nnOverview: You are a performance-driven individual committed to providing innovative service to our clients. You are approachable and relationship-oriented, contributing to Pitney Bowes’ success.nnResponsibilities:nnVehicle Inspection: Conduct daily inspections of your assigned vehicle following Pitney Bowes Presort Services pre-trip inspection guidelines. Report any defects to the Transportation Supervisor for immediate resolution.nnLog Maintenance: Keep a detailed daily driver’s log or route sheet, tracking mileage, stops, and cargo using the TMW system.nnSchedule Adherence: Maintain pickup and delivery schedules, meeting deadlines with the help of software tools.nnSafety Compliance: Understand and follow all safety and security precautions, keeping your vehicle clean and well-maintained.nnMail Handling: Review mail for proper dates, presort slugs, and ensure a pickup slip is attached before loading onto the truck.nnUSPS Equipment Use: Use USPS equipment exclusively for the movement of “Live” mail.nnMail Return: Handle and return client-damaged or undeliverable mail according to internal procedures.nnTechnology Utilization: Use all required cell phone applications effectively.nnWork Area Maintenance: Keep your work area clean by ensuring mail bins are under machines or in APCs, removing plastic straps from the floor to prevent tripping hazards, and sweeping the floors between pickups or deliveries.nnPolicy Adherence: Demonstrate and follow all company policies and safety precautions.nnQualifications:nnAge Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.nnDriving Skills: Ability to drive a CDL straight truck or equivalent.nnNavigation Skills: Ability to read maps and understand directions.nnRegulation Knowledge: Understand and become knowledgeable about USPS regulations and standards.nnLicensing: Hold a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license (CDL Class B) and meet applicable DOT requirements.nnExperience: Minimum of six months of verifiable driving experience and at least 75,000 miles driven in the last five years with a safe driving record.nnPhysical Ability: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend with or without accommodations.nnFlexibility: Ability to work mandatory overtime, including weekends, holidays, and different shifts with little or no advance notice.nnLanguage Skills: Basic understanding of English to follow safety and operational directions.nnAbout Our team:nnPitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®.
