As they continue growing, they are looking for a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant processing, facility, and support equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to safety and quality, effective communication, and technical expertise.
What YOU get to DO in this high-profile position:
- Understand and follow safety protocols (LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, Fall Protection) and quality program requirements (GMPs, Food Safety).
- Complete required safety engagements, conduct Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and address unsafe conditions promptly.
- Participate in shift huddles and collaborate with coworkers.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, maintain a positive attitude, and be flexible with schedules, including staying late if needed.
- Communicate clearly and directly, and be approachable for resolving production issues.
- Perform general preventative maintenance, routine equipment evaluations, and ensure clean and sanitized work areas.
- Use maintenance tools effectively and handle up to 60 pounds.
- Experience with industrial maintenance (minimum two years) and ability to perform physical tasks (sitting, standing, climbing, etc.).
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- At least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience or education; 1+ years with electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Communicate work order progress, ensure a safe working environment, work in a fast-paced setting, be flexible with work and schedule, and adhere to SOPs.
- Must perform various physical tasks and work in varying environmental conditions, including cold/hot and dusty environments.
- Ability to work across shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
