Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic for our quarry located in Chico, Texas.

What You'll Get To Do

• Assist with preventative, predictive and corrective equipment maintenance
• Inspect equipment for safe and proper operation and perform preventative maintenance
• Diagnose, install and perform repair and maintenance on crushers and other equipment
• Install and replace bearings, speed reducers, shafts, pulleys, idlers, motors, couplings, etc.
• Repair conveyor belts, feeders, and hydraulic systems
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of welding and fabrication experience required
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Available to work flexible hours, an average of 50 hrs. per week as needed
• MSHA Part 46 Training a plus

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform duties in all climates, lift and carry up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, and wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment
