Responsibilities - Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan's sanitation policies
- Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
- Maintain kitchen area cleanliness ; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc
- Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
- Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
Qualifications - Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift
- Can reach, bend, stoop
- Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
- Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
- Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
- Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
- Support fellow employees as needed
- Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Whale's Rib and Florida statutes
Benefits - Five (5) Day Work Week, with Two (2) Consecutive Days Off
