Job Description

Job Summary
Client's Cell Therapy business is in an exciting phase of commercialization of its first CAR-T products. Commercialization drives new scope, scale, and complexity across the network, and drives the need to work together in new ways.
This job is part of an organization that has been established to manage this rapidly evolving environment. At the intersection of people, process, and systems are the Global Business Process Owner (BPO) and the Business Process Lead (BPL). The Process Engineer will report to the BPO and will interact with BPO's, BPL's, and functional areas to foster cross-site collaboration and to establish consistency across the network.
Specifically, the Process Engineer will immerse themselves with the global sites to understand and document standard processes and identify opportunities for improvement. The goal is to build standardization across the network to benefit the patients we serve. There will be opportunities to take ownership to develop and deliver solutions that address process gaps.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape how Client's Cell Therapy manufacturing network operates and be part of a team influencing the overall future of the Cell Therapy.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute the elements of Business Process Management (BPM) strategy and business process road map for the Cell Therapy manufacturing network
Work independently to own the creation and management of network process maps and related procedures for supply chain processes such as manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics
Partner with members in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, IT and others to ensure compliant and scalable processes
Perform manual or automated process performance data extraction, reporting, and analysis
Coordinate activities between manufacturing technology, manufacturing operating groups, supply chain, and QA/QC to meet project timelines as required
Achieve high customer satisfaction through effective communication of both technical and non-technical topics with all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering preferred
4+ years of operations work experience required, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, or other GXP environments
This position requires a self-starter who can initiate conversation and solicit participation
Proven ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and unexpected events while maintaining a positive work attitude
Excellent verbal & written communications skills
Interpersonal and facilitation skills are necessary to interface with and influence all levels of the organization
Familiarity with process software such as Visio, Lucidchart, and Confluence is desired
