Job Description We're seeking a skilled Class A Foreman with 3-5 years of experience to be a key player in our manufacturing operations. If you're passionate about precision, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want you on board!
Responsibilities: - Assemble, fit, and align parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Employee must be able to read and interpret structural steel fabrication drawings and fabricate weldments, components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from drawings.
- Utilize hand and power tools (grinders, squares, tape measures, torches, plasma cutters) to fabricate and modify components.
- Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Must be able to perform standard beveling, coping, notching, and weld joint preparation
- Will work with D1.1, D1.5, ASME, and API codes.
- Must pass their blueprint test at 70% or higher.
- Pass a standard tack test using the FCAW and GMAW processes.
Requirements: - 3-5 years of Class Fitter certification or equivalent experience and Foreman experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
- Prior experience with bridges or large scale work preferred!!
