Summary:

• Ensures the quality of the product by making sure the product meets specification and watches for defects. All employees of Western Green are expected to demonstrate a commitment to our Mission, Vision, Core Values and Guiding Principles.

• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Capable of lifting 50lbs unassisted.
• Ability to produce accurate work in a timely manner.
• Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
• Reliable mode of transportation.

• Previous manufacturing experience is desired, but not required.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Performs a combination of production tasks, which includes but is not limited to: Loading Straw in Machines, Bagging Rolls, Assisting the operator in setting up jobs, Adjusting and operating machinery
• Packages the products and maintains log of product type and weight for each roll.
• Observes machine processes for proper function and production for quality
• Loads and unloads materials, net, bags, product or stock to designated work areas as needed.
• Tracks all scrap and downtime.
• Maintains clean surface of machine and work areas.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Core Values.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner so that you get along with coworkers and management
• Demonstrate commitment to identifying problems and improving: Workplace Safety, Product Quality, and Our ability to deliver our customers a superior product.
• Understand, support and execute all work in safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority.
• Work as necessary to fulfill the production schedule.
