HOST/HOSTESS
Greets and welcomes all guests into the restaurant, ensuring a positive first and last impression of Tacombi
DUTIES:
Offer every guest a friendly and sincere welcome; anticipate and be responsive to guests' needs; thank every guest and offer a fond farewell
Embody the Tacombi Service Culture and ensure the Tacombi Experience is carried throughout all interactions with guests
Manage the flow of Guests into the dining and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests is appropriate to promote Guest retention.
Manage reservations and take full responsibility of guests' satisfaction until they have been seated and again during their departure
Serve as an ambassador of the Tacombi brand to make a positive impact on the guests, coworkers and community you touch in-person and over the phone
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professional appearance and demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction; ensure work station is always clean and organized
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies, Tacombi Brand values as well as neighborhood events.
Upbeat and positive attitude throughout the entire day, co-operate closely with team members and other departments to ensure an amazing Guest's experience
Observant to Guest needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive thigh quality service

REQUIREMENTS:
Flexible schedule and ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Host/Hostess, Maitre D' or Concierge
Have a positive attitude and be passionate about guest service
Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
Assertive self-starter - takes initiative and can work well independently
Able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to handle and move objects of up to 20lbs
Knowledge of the New York cultural landscape including dining, art, music, film and fashion are huge pluses
