Requirements
Job Title: SEASONAL Facilities Maintenance Technician Level II
Status: Seasonal Full-Time Non-Hourly
Reporting To: Facilities Maintenance Manager
Powder Mountain is hiring for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician for our winter seasonal needs. This role will maintain Powder Mountain public and private buildings, ensuring our facilities are safe and functional at all times.
Job Performance Expectations: • Perform building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas, and painting repairs to Powder Mountain and Neighbors Community facilities.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain supply/tool inventory and repair as needed, while documenting repairs.
• Inspect all building systems to ensure minimum downtime and reduce repair of expense.
• Completing daily, weekly, monthly system function checks. Document findings.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol.
• Reports all major repairs to manager prior to any expenditure of funds.
• Document all completed work and malfunctioning equipment.
• Use critical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and pursue course of action.
• Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state, and federal laws, e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functioning departments and teams.
• Safe handling of variety of electrical equipment, including voltmeters, grinders, and saws.
• Complete other job duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years' experience in property maintenance technician role.
• Must have valid driver's license - NO major violations on driving record.
• High school Diploma/GED required.
• Journeymen certification in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC - preferred.
• EPA certification - preferred.
• Electrical experience - preferred.
• Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends and holidays as requested.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functioning Powder Mountain departments.
• Proficient software skills Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
• Great attitude, positive mindset, and able to adapt to an ever-changing company.
• Ability to work as a team member as well as independently with little supervision.
• Willingness to work outside above 9,000ft. with varying weather conditions.
• Experience driving snowmobile - preferred.
