Our client has been in business since the 1990's and is one of the state's larger sheet metal fabrication shops. Located in Shelton, they make and finish large products on site such as railway safety carts and X-Ray machines for airports and boarder security. They have 170 employees, are increasing their work force, did not shut down during the pandemic and are adding a 30,000 square foot addition as they continuing to grow. They are seeking a Mechanical Inspector. They offer roughly 50 hour works weeks with competitive pay, lots of overtime opportunity, and great benefits.
Pay Rate:
$20 - $30 (commensurate with experience)

• Incoming inspection, in process inspection, and final inspection on all products.

• 2+ years experience (will consider less for the right candidate).
• Experience in a metal fabrication environment including weldments, paint & powder coating, machined parts, formed parts, and mechanical assemblies.
