Become a maker of possible with us.nnJG 2nnPCP Level - 2nnDuties and ResponsibilitiesnnSupport manufacturing by providing guidance regarding quality documentation/specifications, provide assistance with quality notifications/rejections to ensure product is properly contained, conduct quality audits, partner with quality engineers and manufacturing to investigate root cause of manufacturing and/or customer complaint related issues and prevent reoccurrence, assist quality and process engineers with inspections/testing associated with validations and engineering studies, assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed including product testing and inspections, use SAP to complete material movements.nnGood working knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.nnInterpret drawings and specifications.nnAbility to communicate clearly with all levels of associates.nnProficient in all aspects of Quality Control procedures and possess a detailed knowledge of product components.nnUnderstand plant quality release requirements on assembled and / or finished use products, where applicable.nnEnsures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and standard methodologies, as well as all local, state, federal safety laws, policies, and procedures.nnRegular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.nnAbility to read and write and converse in English.nnWilling and able to uphold BD Values.nnBe flexible in working hours and schedule.(6:00am-2:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm)nnResponsibilities include but are not limited to:nnGive direction concerning product quality using quality documentation.nnWork with quality engineers, quality inspectors, and to ensure quality notifications are handled properly.nnWork with quality engineers and manufacturing to improve quality and reduce quality notifications.nnConduct quality audits.nnWork with quality engineers and team leaders to address audit findings.nnComplete quality notifications completely and accurately.nnProvide training to associates as needed (documents, Quality Notifications, protocols, rework, sort, Test Equipment, TWI’s, etc.).nnReview inspection results and documentation.nnPerform first piece inspections.nnAssist with making changes to quality documents as necessary.nnUse SAP for the revision of quality documents.nnApply SAP/FlexNet for product hold and release.nnUnderstand, use and enforce ISO standards and FDA regulations.nnEnsure that policies, procedures and specifications are followed.nnRead, interpret and explain specifications and prints as required.nnUnderstand, use and interpret quality systems policies and specifications.nnTrain and certify co-workers in inspection techniques and using gages.nnAssist in data collection and documentation process validations and other engineering tests.nnAssist or lead root cause investigationsnnReview, assist, and update local procedure documents as needednnReview specifications and gap assessmentsnnAssist or lead Change Control activitiesnnReview, train, and assist in completing Validation worknnData gathering and entrynnAssist or lead in Engineering Studies / Special Test RequestsnnSupport CAPA and Validation work as requestednnAssist Bath Release Associate to maintain compliance programs related to Batch Release.nnVerify the created Lot Packet(s)/Batch Record(s) are complete and organized properly with all associated forms to allow completion of the Audit TrailnnApprove release of completed lot packet(s)/batch record(s)nnProvide product/document tracking and maintain a record of reviewed and completed lotnnArchive lot packetsnnOther duties as required to support the needs of the business.nnMinimum Education:nnRequired: High school diploma or equivalent experience, such as a GEDnnApplicants with an Associates Degree or relevant experience are encouraged to apply.nnAdult education, Manufacturing, Quality or related.nnMinimum Experience:nn2 years’ experience working in Medical Device manufacturing.nn4 years manufacturing experience; experience performing inspections in a manufacturing environment.nnResume Required.nnMinimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s):nn- Basic or SimplennProject Management SkillsnnData Driven skillsnnProblem Solving Skillsnn- Proficient/WorkingnnISO Standards/FDA RegulationsnnCommunication SkillsnnQuality InspectionsnnDetail OrientednnSAPnnQN InvestigationsnnFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
