We have two different roles available outlined below. Please note that preferences for role type and shift will be taken into consideration, but final decisions will be based on experience, skillset, and shift availability.nnProduction and Packaging OperatorsnnMost common shifts availablennD Shift, Thurs-Fri, 5:30am-2:00pm, Sat-Sun, 5:30am-5:30pmnnE Shift, Mon-Tues, 5:30am-2:00pm, Sat -Sun, 5:30am-5:30pmnnB Shift, Mon-Fri, 1:30pm-10:00pmnnC Shift, Mon-Fri, 9:30pm-6:00amnnF Shift, Thurs-Fri, 9:30pm-6:00am, Sat-Sun, 5:30pm-5:30amnnG Shift, Mon-Tues, 9:30pm-6:00am, Sat-Sun, 5:30am-5:30pmnnStarting Pay Rate - $22.55/hournnWhat you’ll do (Packaging Operator)nnThis position will be responsible for working in a variety of functions within the VMS manufacturing area, such as stacking/sorting/distributing bulk product and material, hand palletizing, sorting product, Moen operation and raw material management (bottles, caps, corrugate).nnEssential Functions (Packaging Operator)nnResponsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area.nnSupport and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.nnAssist manufacturing with inspection, sorting and bagging process for bulk product.nnRemove defects as needed (i.e. deformed, discolored, misshaped, etc.)nnManagement of bulk product from clean room to the packaging area, sorting/stacking/cleaning trays to be returned to clean room as needed.nnVisual sorting and declumping of bulk product prior to packaging process.nnSupplying hoppers with bottles, caps and other raw materials as needed.nnSupply bottle conveyor for metal detection, capping and induction sealing.nnIdentify, retrieve and inspect pallets, apply case labels as needed.nnMoen operation, including erecting cases trays and displays.nnBreakdown of excess corrugate for bailing. Proper communications protocol with all manufacturing, quality and other operations staff to communicate and escalate product or equipment issues as needed.nnEquipment operation to include, but is not limited to: heat tunnel, sealer, checkweigher and palletizer. Ensures all quality and food safety practices are followed at all times.nnAssist in line clearance, cleaning and sanitization procedures as needed.nnAssist with the training and certification program as needed.nnOther duties as assigned.nnWhat you’ll do (Production Operator)nnThis manufacturing position will be responsible assisting in all areas of production operations, including but not limited to, operating Moen box making equipment, assisting in the bottle dumping areannEssential Functions (Production Operator)nnResponsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area.nnSupport and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.nnSafe and efficient equipment operation to meet or exceed all quality, scheduling and customer requirements.nnAssist with machine set-up and changeovers. Assist with equipment preventative maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of machinery. Ensure all quality standards are met, i.e. right material components being run on the right lines, etc.nnAssist with special projects and assignments such as rework, hand stacking, etc.nnParticipate in continuous improvement teams to identify and resolve areas of downtime, etc.nnAssist with the training and certification program as needed. Other duties as assigned.nnEducation ExperiencennHigh school diploma or GED required (both roles)nnOne (1) year work experience that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities needed to perform the job (both roles)nnPrior manufacturing experience in a GMP environment preferred (food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, etc.) 1 – 3 years' experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred.
