Overview
n

The General Maintenance Worker implements scheduled maintenance projects at all retail locations, Store Support Center, and other company-owned facilities. This is a Field Technician style position that is responsible for conducting quality assessments, performing general carpentry, painting/patching, repair, and operating machinery. The General Maintenance Worker by nature is a jack-of-all-trades, having core competencies in maintenance procedures, basic hydraulic systems, basic tools, and appliances. To ensure successful project completion, the General Maintenance Worker must have exceptional communication and the ability to work interdepartmentally.

Facilities Dispatch Truck will be used for business travel

Minimum Qualifications
n

Must be at least 21 years of age.• Authorized to work within the U.S.• Possess a valid MA driver’s license and will be required to submit an annual RMV record• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a general maintenance field worker or related field • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.• Ability to inspect and diagnose problems and determine the best way to correct them.• Successful completion of pre-employment/promotion drug screen and or criminal background check. (Timeline must fall within Company guidelines.)

  • Perform general maintenance tasks including but not limited to painting and general carpentry.

  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.

  • Call on specifically licensed and trained trades when the project scope warrants it.

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair machines, displays, or systems using the appropriate tools.
  • n
  • Maintain safe working conditions.
  • n
  • Maintain inventory of needed parts and products.
  • n
  • Work and communicate with multiple trades and vendors.
  • n
  • Estimate repair costs.
  • n
  • Notify management of potential shrink/security concerns.
  • n
  • Prioritize multiple jobs at multiple locations to ensure productivity as well as best results.
