The position of Food Runner/Expeditor is very important as this person will work between front and back of house in the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail and reliable, work efficiently, and be friendly to every guest with whom he/she interacts. The Food Runner/Expeditor is responsible for plate presentation and prompt delivery of each dish to the guest. He/She would assist the Chef in keeping the kitchen stocked with necessary items, dress each plate with the appropriate condiments to complete presentation, and ensure efficient delivery to the table. During the course of his/her duties, the Food Runner/Expeditor is polite and happy to provide outstanding service and hospitality to every guest!
