This includes all production equipment and peripheral equipment as assigned.nnEssential duties and responsibilities:nnAble to work safely and identify safety issues and implement repairs.nnDiagnoses mechanical and electrical issues associated with all equipment in a manufacturing environment.nnAble to use a multi-meter.nnResponsible for installation, set up, maintenance and repair of all equipment related to plant operation, services and facilities.nnMust have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a manufacturing environment; proven electrical, mechanical, welding, tool and die, and lift truck experience.nnMust be knowledgeable in pneumatics, blue prints/schematic readings, PLC's, VFD’s, HMI’s, and fabrication.nnMaintain housekeeping and implement 5S in areas of assigned responsibility to ensure a safe and clean work environment.nnMust possess good written and verbal communication skills, decision making ability and mathematical knowledge.nnMust be able to utilize Maintenance Connection CMMS for Work Orders, Parts Check Out, and data collection purposesnnQualificationsnnRequirements:nnComputer literacy in Desktop Applications and Maintenance Connection CMMS.nnSkilled in using precision measurement devicesnnCompetent in working with computerized machine controls and interfaces.nnHighly organized, problem solver, able to handle multiple tasks, self-motivated with strong sense of accountability.nnMust have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization.nnAble to act and show best work practice, understand work design and respond to issues without specific instructions.nnMust be a Team player.nnHydraulic, electrical, mechanical and/or general maintenance experience required.nnThermoforming, Injection molding and/or plastics industry experience preferred.nnHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required, technical school credentials preferred.nnPhysical Requirements/ Environmental/ Working Conditions:nnThis person will be required to be on call and cover for other team members during absences, vacations, and other periods of leave.nnMust be able to meet physical requirements of the job: pushing/pulling at waist level, overhead force up to 95 pounds & frequently carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 poundsnnMust be a demonstrated team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.nnNo Step 2 corrective actions within the last six months (internal).nnAble to work in differing temperaturesnnMust be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as requirednnP activ Evergreen is one of the largest manufacturers of fresh food & beverage packaging in North America, with market leading positions across a broad range of products.
