Job Description: The equipment maintenance technician performs various functions and provides expertise in the repair, maintenance, installation, and enhancement of machinery and equipment.nnDuties: Performs some or all of the following:nnTroubleshoots to diagnose problems; repairs and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.nModifies and tests equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability.nAssists in maintaining a clean work environment and follows all safety policies and procedures strictlynMaintains and updates all process documentation and updates and reviews daily maintenance logs.nSupervises equipment modifications for process changes, new models, and expansions needs.nUndertakes and documents tests associated with installation, qualification and/or calibration of equipment and machinery.nTroubleshoots and repairs various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, diesel, and hydraulic equipment and systems involving the isolation of the malfunction parts, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of faulty components.nCarries out design, development, and implementation of preventative maintenance programs on machinery and mechanical systems.nUses equipment manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to aid in troubleshooting and repairing of tools and equipment.nLooks into service requests for repairs and maintenance to determine nature of problem and recommend appropriate solutions.nUndertakes the sourcing and ordering of required parts, supplies, and services.nEnsures that equipment is in a safe and working condition and utilizes the Lock-Out Tag-Out program and ensures the application of Quality Policies and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities.nnEducation/Credentials:nnAssociate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or technology related degree, or equivalent from two-year College or technical school, mechanic certificate; or High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years technical maintenance or related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Knowledge of paint pumps and compressors preferred.nnSpecific Skills:nnMust be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.nKnowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.nStrong verbal and written communication skills.nMotivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.nWilling to perform physically demanding tasks like extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, etc. and to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs, as needed.nnEssential Skills: Interpersonal, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information and continuous learning. *Please send resume to or click apply to complete an application. *
