The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team, including both full-time Apple employees and a third-party technician team. Working directly with the LA Site Lead, The Maintenance Supervisor will lead with an Apple first approach to facilities management to achieve department goals. This position regularly interacts with people at all levels throughout the company and should represent the Facilities team as a professional partner at all times.nnDescriptionnnTeam Supervision: Provide oversight, mentorship, and direction to full-time Apple maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. - Contractor Management: Lead all aspects of the performance and service quality of third-party technicians, ensuring contract compliance and addressing any performance issues. - Operational Oversight: Lead maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, general repairs, and project support, to maintain building assets. - Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to support operational needs and maintenance requirements, encouraging a collaborative working environment. - Reporting & Audits: Conduct regular audits of service tickets and maintenance activities to identify trends, address potential issues, and ensure timely work order closure. - Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities follow federal, state, and local laws, as well as Apple policies and standards.nnMinimum Qualificationsnn5+ years of experience managing contracts or personnelnnTechnical training, technical school background or equivalent work experience.nnExperience managing both in-house teams and third-party contractors.nnProven experience in facilities building maintenance, with a strong understanding of maintenance protocols, logistics, and use of work order management systems.nnAbility to provide on-call support in case of emergencies or other off-hours issues.nnKey QualificationsnnPreferred QualificationsnnStrong communication skills, and provide direction to contractors and vendors performing services for the company.nnExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.nnStrong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with team members, management, and external vendors.nnProficiency in Apple products, Spreadsheets, BOX, Tririga / ServiceChannelnnAbility to understand the complex business environments at Apple and excel in customer service.nnAbility to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise day or night.nnBachelors degree or equivalent experiencennEducation & ExperiencennAdditional RequirementsnnPay & BenefitsnnAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
