Job Overview:nnThe Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and janitorial services of all property owned/leased buildings, as well as performing any necessary duties in those areas.nnYour Responsibilities:nnPerforms minor carpentry and plumbing repairs to our buildings.nWork well in a team or individual environmentnRepairs to drywall, replace light fixturesnAssist with renovation projectsnInspection and required maintenance to all playground equipmentnClean kitchen including stoves, refrigerators and other appliancesnClean bathrooms thoroughly and safelynCollect trash from offices, pool area, events, and where needed.nSweep, mop, vacuum, wax and buff floors.nClean windows and doors.nAbility to communicate effectively with individuals both orally and written.nComply with all policiesnPressure washing.nOther duties as assigned.nnSkills & Qualifications:nnMust have graduated from an accredited high school or have a GED equivalent.nDemonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with individuals both written and orally.nHave the ability to interact with non-employees and residents in a professional manner.nSome knowledge of the tools and equipment used in custodial and general maintenance work.nMust have at least a valid Florida Class “E” Driver License and must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.nnPhysical Requirements:nnPhysical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.and 100 lbs. on a non-regular basis.nPhysical strength and ability to perform heavy manual labor required.nStanding, sitting, walking, carrying, and occasional climbing.nAbility to work extended/flexible hours and weekends.nMust not have any uncontrolled allergies to common cleaning compounds or chemicals, grass, pollen, dust, etcnnAdditional InformationnnSchedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week including weekends.nProperty specific perks (free access to gym, swimming pools)nnWhat We Offer:nnAs a full-time associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and Vision.
