Are you ready to contribute and grow in a diverse team? The Cincinnati Specialty Underwriters Insurance Company is seeking an experienced excess and surplus lines underwriter for a position in Seattle, WA or in proximity to our Fairfield, OH Headquarters.

Salary: The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $161,000 annually, with additional incentives based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with producers and underwriting assistants to underwrite surplus lines commercial property and casualty business
• Analyze and evaluate information for complex risks
• Achieve production and loss ratio goals
• Mentor and train underwriters and underwriting assistants
• Research new products and coverage forms
• Travel within assigned territory, including some overnight stays

Qualifications:

• Property and casualty underwriting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to develop positive working relationships and communicate effectively
• Bachelor's degree or extensive relevant underwriting experience
• 5+ years of experience working with commercial lines property and casualty products
• ASLI or CPCU designations preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
