Position: Customer Service Representative
Location: San Diego, CA 92111
Shift: Mon-Fri, 0830-1700
Duration: 13 weeks
Description:
- 1 year of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a healthcare setting such as a hospital, medical group, health insurance or other RBO (Bachelors degree considered in lieu of experience)
- Knowledge of medical terminology to include ICD-10 codes, CPT codes, and HCPC codes
- Computer skills to include Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry systems.
- Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative's primary job function is to promote favorable relationships with members, providers, and health plans through the prompt, accurate and courteous resolution of issues including but not limited to the following: authorization processing, claim research, coordinating translation services, and Primary Care Provider changes.
