Safety-Kleen is currently seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee . In this exciting role, you will train to operate a Class B box truck and provide essential onsite services for parts washer machines, facilitate the pickup of containerized hazardous waste, and promote products and services along a defined route. We will cover the cost for you to obtain your CDL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the top priority by following all safe work practices and policies
• Visit approximately 10-12 customer sites daily
• Replace 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clear out sediment from sinks
• Upsell services and generate leads at customer locations
• Assist automotive repair shops, fleets, and manufacturers
• Complete daily service, delivery, and pickup routes efficiently
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations
• Operations must meet U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements
• Follow all company environmental health and safety guidelines
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Basic computer and math skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong customer service orientation
• Capacity to perform physical duties as required
• Must successfully pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination
• Compliance with OSHA's respiratory protection standards may require meeting facial hair standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possession of a Class B CDL
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Experience in commercial route driving (Class C or Non-CDL)
