Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay: $22.00/HR
Schedule: 2nd shift - 3:30PM - 2:00AM - 10-hour shifts - Monday - Friday OT: yes (not required)

We're searching for a driven Quality Technician (PPAP Assistant) to join our team, working alongside our talented PPAP Technician to ensure all product and process standards are met with precision and efficiency. In This Role, You Will:
- Support PPAP Technician Deliverables: Assist with all necessary documents and requirements according to AIAG and customer standards.
- Maintain & Review Data: Ensure all data aligns with specifications for optimal quality assurance.
- Validate Supplier Material Certs: Retrieve and verify material certifications from our trusted suppliers.
- Create & Update Documentation: Use PLEX ERP to create, edit, and manage vital documents.
- Manage Master Samples: Weigh, photograph, and organize samples to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with Quality Management: Be ready to tackle other tasks and challenges as assigned to uphold our quality standards.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or GED (required).
- Strong understanding of blueprints, technical data sheets, and schematics; proficient in Microsoft Office and PDF tools (Word, Excel, Adobe/Firefox, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Quality and Metrology, along with an ability to troubleshoot metrology and process issues for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with inspection gauges (e.g., calipers, pin gauges, height gauges).
- Technical Knowledge: Associate degree in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering or relevant manufacturing experience.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus!
Position Criteria:
- Communication Skills: Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a bonus.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Sharp analytical skills for root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Safety Standards: Commitment to safety is key! Hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel boots are required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
