Job Title: Truck Driver, Medium Location: Pax River, MDnnJob Description: We are looking for a skilled Truck Driver to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to various destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating medium-sized trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:nnDrives a straight truck, 1 1/2 to 4 tons inclusive, usually 6 wheels to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments such as: manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale, and retail establishments, or between retail establishments and customers' houses or places of business.nnSafely operate medium-sized trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations.nnFollow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.nnConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.nnLoad and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring proper distribution and securing of items.nnPlan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize efficiency.nnCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues or concerns.nnMaintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, fuel consumption, and delivery details.nnAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials if applicable.nnPerform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and performing minor repairs as needed.nnRepresent Black Bear Technology Solutions in a professional and courteous manner at all times.nnQualifications:nnValid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.nnProven experience as a truck driver, with a focus on medium-sized vehicles preferred.nnExcellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.nnStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.nnGood communication skills, both verbal and written.nnAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.nnPhysical stamina and strength to load and unload cargo and perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks.nnFlexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.nnHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.nnBear Den Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind.
