TITLE: CDL A Driver DIVISION: Transportation

Job Opportunity: Class A Route Drivers in Richmond, VA

POSITION DETAILS:
- Starting Pay rate: $26.50/hour with potential to move to $27.00/hour after 90 days
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: 3410 Norfolk St, Richmond, VA 23230
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform local deliveries to K-12 schools in Richmond, VA
- Drive newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks equipped with lift gates and both electric and manual pallet jacks
- Use a 2-wheel dolly for deliveries to locations without docks.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Monday - Friday (occasional layover)
- Day Shift Start Times: 3am-6am until route is complete
- Average: 45-55 hours in a 5-day work week
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class A Driver's License
- DOT Medical Certificate
- Motor Vehicle Record (10 years)
- Proficiency in driving a manual transmission
- TWIC card a plus
- Able to pass pre-employment drug, background screenings, and fingerprinting
