CNA - responsible for providing Direct ADL Care, dressing, feeding, grooming, showering, etc. to residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility. Applicants will be required to document their work in our Electronic Health Record (PCC). Will be working on 25 - 30 bed units with other CNAs, CMAs and LPNs to care for our residents. With the pandemic situation, there is a possibility you may be working with COVID-19 + patients.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Certified nursing assistant (CNA) will prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, etc., to include transporting residents to/from such activities.
- Answer residents' call lights promptly.
- Attend in-service educational programs, on the job training programs, and meetings as directed.
- Assist residents with proper hygiene
- Bathe residents as assigned and in accordance with established facility procedures (encourage showers and other self-help measures/activities).
- Follow infection control procedures in accordance with established facility policy when isolation techniques are necessary.
- Chart required information every shift pertaining to the role of the certified nursing assistant (CNA).
- Presents a professional image to consumers through dress, behaviour, and speech.
- Adheres to Company Standards for resolving consumer concerns.
- Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
General Certification : BLS/BCLS
Experience Required : 2 years.
Duration: 13 weeks.
Hours per Week : 36hrs
Schedule Details : 12 hrs (7am - 7 pm)
Location : Lawton, OK.
