Summary
Under the direction of the department Manager and supervision of an RN, performs a variety of non-professional nursing duties supporting the direct care of patients. This position will also provide continuous observation and monitoring of patients at high risk of causing injury to self or others during their hospital stay. The position safely performs a variety of patient care tasks.
Qualifications
Required:

• Current CNA certification with Nevada State Board of Nursing
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support
• Minimum one (1) year experience in acute care setting
• must successfully complete Non-Violent Crisis intervention within six (6) months of hire or position entry

Preferred:

• One (1) year experience in critical care settingMedical Oncology/Float Pool
