Job Summary :

Generations Home Care is currently seeking quality Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) to join our team in providing home care services to our clients in the Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island area. As a CNA with our company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients by assisting them with their daily activities, providing emotional support, and promoting their overall well-being. This is a variable hour position, with opportunities for part-time or full-time work depending on performance, client requests, and availability.

Compensation & Benefits :

- Hourly pay rate of $21-37, depending on geographical location and length of shift

- Paid twice a month, on the 10th and 25th

Responsibilities:
n
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other household tasks
n
- Assist with ambulation and transfers (e.g. using Hoyer lifts, transferring from bed to wheelchair, etc.)
n
- Assist with reminding clients to take their prescriptions, following proper procedures and protocols
n
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure the best quality of care
n
- Document all client care activities accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and procedures
n
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical behaviors at all times while providing care to our clients
n
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for our clients, following infection control and safety protocols
n
- Provide one-on-one care and assist with daily activities such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming for our clients
n
- Use of agency technology for monitoring time and productivity (app based clocking in and out, task tracking, etc.)

Requirements:
n
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Washington or the ability to earn one within 200 days of hire
n
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain one
n
- Compassionate, empathetic, and reliable
n
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
n
- Excellent communication and reliability
n
- High school diploma or equivalent
n
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
