Our campus consists of three historic buildings, all of which are located in the heart of downtown Windsor, Vermont with many amenities within walking distance of each residence.
The Cox House has seven independent senior apartments with off-street parking. Each apartment has one bedroom with a living room and a kitchenette. The Stoughton and Evarts Houses are licensed by the State of Vermont to provide Level III Residential Care Nursing, which means we will provide nursing overview and assistance with medication management, but not full-time nursing care. Each house provides a private room with a bathroom, laundry, freshly cooked, family style meals, and assistance with general personal needs.
Respite care and Hospice services are available and we accept private pay as well as Medicaid. A Registered Nurse Administrator is on duty Monday through Friday. In addition, there is a Registered Nurse on call after hours, on weekends, and holidays. Personal Care Attendants are on duty 24/7 who will assist with administering medication as ordered. Incoming residents must be under the care of a primary medical provider and must meet specific health standards.
