The Position
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New York
- 2-7 years of litigation experience
- Experience with general liability insurance preferred
- Experience with other insurance defense including asbestos, toxic torts, construction, construction defect, NY labor law, and premise liability, a plus
- Strong communication, writing, and research skills
Responsibilities
- Work on multiple cases simultaneously from inception through trial as part of a coordinated defense litigation team
- Attend/conduct depositions for multiple types of defendants regarding different types of products
- Primary drafting of client reports, motions, pretrial disclosures, settlement releases and other legal filings
- Argument of motions and attendance at conferences before NY Judges, and arguments and conferences before the Special Master.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
