Procurement Analyst - Summary:
Our client is looking for an experienced individual to join their Procurement Department in a multifaceted role. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency and experience in various Microsoft applications, Workday as an ERP system, and Power BI for reporting and analysis is required.
Procurement Analyst - Requirements:
- Manage daily tasks related to material forecasting, sourcing, planning, and purchasing of goods and services, including handling purchase orders
- Conduct analysis and research to identify spending trends and translate findings into actionable projects.
- Participate in Requests for Proposals (RFPs), invoicing, and other ad-hoc requests.
- Lead efforts to streamline inventory processes and daily operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, OEMs, and industry peers.
- Coordinate the supplier onboarding process, ensuring compliance with insurance and other requirements.
- Ensure adherence to established procurement and inventory protocols.
- Oversee the procurement process from order placement to delivery, ensuring all steps are effectively managed.
- Ensure proper distribution of materials to designated client locations.
- Coordinate auditing and reporting of material depots across utilities.
- Stay informed about supply chain market conditions and assess potential impacts on the company.
- Assist in the preparation of material forecasts and track the consumption of goods and services across various departments.
- Consolidate bills of materials across both utilities to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Recommend process improvements and facilitate agreed-upon changes.
- Assist with month-end functions, including managing outstanding invoices and accruals.
