We are seeking a Microbiologist to perform microbiology testing as part of a small team for a growing Cell & Gene Therapy company. This is a contract role that could lead to FTE status down the line. This role is at the Associate Scientist level and we are seeking 1 year of experience post bachelors degree with microbiology testing of samples.

Experience with bioburden testing, growth promotion, endotoxin , Gas Sampling and Plate Reading , and hopefully some Environmental Monitoring are required.

The individual will generate SOPs, Test Methods, and Test Forms for Microbiology. The Associate Scientist will perform some Environmental Monitoring as well as perform various microbiology testing techniques as required.

This role is onsite M-F, 1st Shift, in Durham, NC.

On the job :

• will generate SOPs, Test Methods, and Test Forms for Microbiology.
• assist with the implementation of the Environmental Monitoring Module within LIMS software.
• will perform various microbiology testing of samples as required.
