Our client (a digital agency in Minneapolis, MN) is looking to bring on a digital designer to produce engaging and out-of-the-box content for their client’s email campaigns. This person must have strong design skills, conceptual chops, ability to think big picture and apply ideas to the email channel specifically. Curious, collaborative - understands how to create designs that connect with target audiences and tie back to the overarching objective.

• Experience working with variable and personalized content, motion design, animation, modular templates, adaptive and responsive design.
• Partner with copywriter to come up with several options, ensure the overarching idea comes through cohesively through copy + design.
• Proficient in Figma
• Strong attention to detail

Position Duties And Responsibilities

• Ideation and execution of conceptual and promotional campaigns with multiple touchpoints
• Demonstrate diverse design skills across a variety of channels and mediums
• Thinking boldly and broadly - solving the problem at hand, but exploring fresh ways of doing so and bringing additional ideas beyond the ask
• Understand and follow current best practices and trends in digital experiences
• Ability to comprehend and leverage insights from research and data to connect with a target audience

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, visual communications or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a creative agency setting
• Knowledge and proficiency in creative application software and technologies Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Sketch, Figma , InDesign, InVision, Acrobat, PowerPoint and other creative applications
• MUST HAVE STRONG FIGMA EXPERIENCE
• Strong typographic and layout skills with an eye for design
• Outstanding organizational, project management, file organization and archiving skills are a must
• Email design expertise
• Understanding of design principles in typography, color, imagery and motion design
• Understanding or ADA compliance regulations
• Highly creative and strategic
• Have a keen eye for the details
• Collaborative both in ideation and in receiving feedback
• Ability to provide clear POV on creative ideas/choices
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, while meeting deadlines
• Enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment
