About the company: Our client is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney to join a dynamic team in Oakland. The annual minimum billable hours target is approximately 1600.
About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of litigation experience, with a proven track record of managing cases on their own. Experience with employment litigation is preferred. Matters include class action, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will encompass a range of matters, including:
- Manage cases on your own
- Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions
- Argue motions in court
- Represent employers in court, arbitration, before administrative agencies and at mediations
Qualifications: Admission to the California bar is required. A distinguished academic record as well as strong communication and organizational skills are desired. At least 5+ years of litigation experience; employment law including class action and PAGA experience is preferred but not required.
Pay range and compensation package: This position provides a competitive base salary range of approximately $160,000.00-$190,000 and a lucrative bonus structure for hours billed in excess of the minimum.
