Assistant Production Manager

Masis Professional Group has an immediate need for an Assistant Production Manager for a very well-established and very reputable manufacturing firm in the Cheshire County NH area on a full-time direct hire basis.


Assistant Production Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building motivated and skilled teams through effective recruiting, selection, and on-boarding
  • Ensure the production team is adhering to all company policies
  • Assist in cultivating an environment and culture that provides a rewarding work experience, fostering growth and high performance
  • Assist in fostering growth opportunities and make recommendations with hiring and promotions
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and training requirements are met
  • Assist Production Managers will daily operations such as distributing of workload/ monitoring shipments etc.
  • Ability to operate the department in the absence of the Production Managers
  • Observe and inspect product to ensure quality specifications are being met
  • Ensure new employees are properly onboarded and training requirements are being met
  • Effective communication with Production Managers and other members of the operations team.
  • Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
  • Demonstrate and promote work and safety procedures to all employees
  • Uphold the company’s quality standards with no exceptions


Assistant Production Manager Qualifications:

  • Managerial/Supervisor experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft office and other computer programs/software applications
  • Experience working with and collaborating with diversely skilled team members with varying experiences
  • Professional and effective communication skills and capability in connecting with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to stand and walk for a full shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 40#
