Our client is seeking an experienced professional to become their next Safety Manager for their manufacturing facility in Northern California.
Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 + 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives, and train a mainly Spanish-speaking workforce.
- Safety Culture Champion: Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement.
- Regulatory Compliance Expert: Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Hazard Assessment Pro: Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.
- Training Guru: Conduct OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training.
- Injury Management Leader: Support Workers’ Compensation claims management, investigating incidents and recommending preventive measures.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
- Experience: 5 years in Environmental Health and Safety, with 3 years minimum in manufacturing (food manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Certifications: Strong OSHA and Cal-OSHA experience (certification a must), ASP or CSP (certifications a plus).
- Bonus Points: Environmental compliance expertise (EPA, HAZMAT) and proficiency in EHS Management software.
