• Generalist role with strong emphasis on high volume, quick turnaround drafting, review, and revision of commercial contracts and agreements

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, review and negotiate all types of contracts on behalf of the business units, including non-disclosure agreements, toll manufacturing or private label arrangements, buy and sell supply agreements, equipment leases, non-compete agreements, consulting/independent contractor agreements, distribution agreements, SAAS/software agreements, license agreements, warranties, terms and conditions of sale/purchase, real property transactions/leases, and other contracts in support of business strategies and obligations
• Provide advice and guidance to business personnel on day-to-day legal claims and issues
• Advise on global employment and labor matters, including employee relations, terminations, compliance, background screenings, immigration, recruiting, compensation, and other related matters
• Collaborate with large project teams and one-on-one with business colleagues.

The Profile

Hard skills

• JD plus 2-5 years experience as a practicing attorney
• Experience in drafting, revising, analyzing and negotiating commercial agreements – this is key!
• In-house experience preferred but not required. You must have experience working with corporate clients.
• Admission to, and good standing with, at least one US state bar (or DC)
• Familiarity with Oracle HRIS systems is preferred but not required

• Not afraid to say when you don’t know something, and comfortable going direct to the subject matter expert or business leader to get the necessary understanding or insight
• Purposeful, results-focused, with well-developed prioritization skills
• Wiling to work 5 days a week in the Maple Shade office and travel up to 10% domestically – this is NOT a hybrid role
