Shirley Parsons is partnering with a top notch, high quality building materials company who is looking to add someone to their manufacturing plant to implement a strong safety culture. This candidate will need to be up for new challenges and face them head on, ability to work collaboratively with all employees and have a positive safety culture attitude.

The Role:

• Create and execute EHS initiatives at the facility level.
• Recognize, design, and manage new training initiatives as needed for project and leadership support.
• Supervise adherence to EHS core values for site operations, oversee the site’s EHS systems, and drive ongoing improvements in EHS practices.
• Execute and oversee policies and procedures for Safety, Industrial Health, and Fire Prevention.
• Track safety documentation and adherence to regulations; perform regular inspections.

The Candidate:

• 5+ years of Safety experience in manufacturing.
• Professional certification (CSP, CHST, etc.) preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Safety and Health or related field required.
• Strong communication skills with key stakeholders and other project leaders.
• Proven experience in guiding and managing employees and workgroups.
